Green Energy Mobility Savings and Cooperative Society (GEM SACCO) is an organized group of auto-taxi drivers, initially formed under a community-based organization known as the Green Drivers Community. The primary mission of GEM SACCO is to decarbonize the taxi industry in Kenya by accelerating the transition to zero-carbon emission transportation. GEM SACCO is open for membership to all electric mobility service providers, uniting those committed to creating a sustainable and environmentally-friendly future for the nation’s transportation sector.
